In our previous article, we discussed how strength training can benefit everyone, including special populations such as seniors, pre- and post-natal women, and those who are recovering from injury or participating in post-surgery rehabilitation.

Now, we continue to highlight our commitment to providing a diverse and inclusive environment for all special populations to participate in and benefit from our personal training programs.

In the following article, we’ll demonstrate how our certified personal trainers use their skills and knowledge to safely and effectively train youth as well as children and adults with disabilities.

One of the most common misconceptions about strength training is that it isn’t designed for everyone. That’s a false assumption. If anything, strength training has evolved to be more inclusive and welcoming of everyone and anyone who is eager to benefit from regular fitness and exercise especially when working with a personal trainer.

Loyalty Fitness is committed to providing a diverse and inclusive environment for everyone to participate in personal training. It’s why our trainers provide personal training programs for special populations who require a higher form of modification to make workouts fit their individual needs. Using their skills and knowledge, our certified personal trainers safely and effectively train individuals with medical conditions, disorders, disabilities, and transient conditions (childhood, adolescence, pregnancy, postpartum).

In this first half of a two-part article, we’ll discuss the many ways our specialized personal training programs for seniors, pre- and post-natal women, and those recovering from injury benefit these individuals and the many ways we ensure their safety during each session. (more…)

As we age, so many things change in our lifestyles as well as our bodies that make keeping our figure a little more difficult. But that doesn’t mean you have to accept it! Improving your physical fitness and eating a healthy diet are key components to help keep you feeling fit and young.

We’ve all been there- you head to the gym, find your favorite piece of equipment, get ready to start your workout and then someone comes and starts working out right next to you even though there are plenty of other machines. This action could stir up different reactions: 1) You ignore them because you’re only competing against yourself, 2) It might encourage you to train harder, or 3) It might annoy you so much that you get discouraged and end your workout early. If like most people your reaction is #3, don’t despair, there is another option- Personal Training!

When thinking about how to reach your health and fitness goals, you should absolutely consider working with a personal trainer! We hire experts for so many things, from medical care to landscaping and car maintenance – it should be a no-brainer to hire a fitness expert to help you get in shape. Personal trainers are so much more than someone who is there just to watch you work out.
